K2 Peru Adventure, Mar 23-Apr 2
In March and June of 2012, K2 is offering two different trips to Peru which will include trekking the Inca Trail, a guided tour of the ruins of Machu Picchu and other sacred sites throughout the Sacred Valley. On this trip, you will also have the opportunity to help disabled children in Cusco, Peru and village students high in the Andes.

Enjoy a 12-day trip to Peru. You will visit the spectacular cities of Lima, Cusco and Aguas Calientes. This trip includes two days of community service, guided tours of the historic city of Cusco, luxury hotel accommodations, top quality camping and hiking (4) four days on the Inca Trail and a guided tour of the ruins of Machu Picchu and other sacred sites throughout the Sacred Valley. The dates are set for June 10 – June 21 and you will be guided by world-class adventurers Kevin Cherilla and Kristen Salcito and their Peruvian team led by Elkin la Torre.

In the summer of 2012, K2 will lead three different trips to Tanzania that will offer the opportunity to perform community service at the Mwereni Integrated School for the Blind, climb Mt. Kilimanjaro, or go on a safari.

Arizona’s very own, Kevin Cherilla of K2 Adventures Foundation has been selected to guide Kyle Maynard, a "congenital quadruple amputee" up Mt. Kilimanjaro, who has parlayed his life story into a motivational speaking career.
