K2 Equine Therapy
Our equine-assisted therapeutic program is perfect for children and youth with a wide variety of disabilities, teaching them basic horsemanship and/or care.
I’ve experienced new levels of healing care with Lisa and the animals that I didn’t know I needed to have... the animals bring me a different level of comfort and safety.”Brandi - participant
This eight week program allows youth, ages 13 to 16, to participate in equine-assisted therapy. Research shows the many benefits from equine therapy may include: improved motor coordination, posture, balance, concentration, muscle tone, self-esteem and self-confidence. The program operates in partnership with Envision Therapy who provides us access to their facilities and certified instructors, and with Florence Crittendon, who provides program participants.
